One talker per channel
Formal floor control grants the channel to one speaker at a time. Nobody talks over anyone.
Channel changes without dropping the call
Turn the knob mid-shift; the call is moved, not redialled.
A record of every transmission

HD voice
Every call uses the Opus wideband codec, with hardware noise cancellation on the radio, so voices stay clear on loud floors.

Your data stays in the EU. Or on your own infrastructure.
Recordings, transcripts and location history are stored and processed in an EU cloud region — or in your own data centre, if you host Verbo yourself. In Saudi Arabia, Verbo runs on infrastructure in the Kingdom.

The platform runs in an EU cloud region. Your voice and location data are stored and processed there.
Self-hosted, if you prefer
Run the whole platform in your own data centre or private cloud. Recordings, transcripts and location history stay inside it.
AI on our own infrastructure
Transcription runs on a self-hosted model. Audio is not sent to a third-party AI service.

Verbo is a push-to-talk platform for on-site teams: rugged radios on LTE or Wi-Fi, a web dispatcher console, and AI transcripts of every transmission. It is made in Portugal.
What is push-to-talk over cellular (PoC)?
Push-to-talk over cellular is a two-way radio that carries voice over the mobile network instead of radio masts. Press the button and your whole channel hears you, wherever there is 4G or Wi-Fi.
What is the difference between push-to-talk over cellular and two-way radio?
A two-way radio reaches as far as its signal, extended with repeaters, and licensed channels need frequency planning. Push-to-talk over cellular uses the mobile network or Wi-Fi, so teams in different buildings or cities share one channel, and the console, recordings and map come with it.
Do we need a radio licence?
No frequency licence is needed. The radios use the mobile network or your Wi-Fi, the same way a phone does, so there is no spectrum to apply for or manage.
How far can the radios reach?
As far as mobile coverage or your Wi-Fi goes. Distance is not limited by the radio, so a dispatcher in one city can talk to a team in another.
How much does Verbo cost?
€15 per radio per month on an annual plan, or €18 billed monthly, excl. VAT. There are no per-user fees: a radio shared by three shifts costs the same. Radios are bought separately from our hardware partner’s resellers.
Which devices does Verbo work with?
The RG190, a rugged push-to-talk radio, and the web console in any browser. Verbo is not a phone app. Radios come from our hardware partner’s resellers; Verbo provides the platform.
Are calls recorded?
Yes. Every transmission is recorded and transcribed by AI after it ends. You can replay a time window to hear what was said and see where everyone was, and search transcripts by what was said.
Where is our data stored, and can we host Verbo ourselves?
Recordings, transcripts and location history are stored and processed in an EU cloud region, or you can run the whole platform in your own data centre. In Saudi Arabia, Verbo runs on infrastructure in the Kingdom.
How is Verbo different from Zello?
Verbo runs on dedicated rugged radios rather than phones, is priced per radio rather than per user, so one radio can serve three shifts, and gives one talker per channel through formal floor control.
Who is behind Verbo?
Verbo is made in Porto, Portugal, by Ledovox, Lda. It won the Best Portuguese Solution Award at MEO’s 5G Challenge 2025. Ledovox was selected for the Open Innovation Program 2.0, powered by Vodafone Business, and is incubated at UPTEC (the University of Porto Science and Technology Park) and Unicorn Factory Lisboa.
